Xactware Webinar Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This document answers the frequently asked questions we receive regarding our webinars. If you have a question that isn't covered here, please click here.

  • What is a webinar?
    Webinars are a type of web conference. For Xactware's webinars, the audio and video will be broadcast through your computer. These webinars will cover a variety of subjects and are intended to keep you informed of industry news, Xactware products, and other items of interest. Most webinars include a live presentation and/or product demonstration.
  • How do I register for an Xactware webinar?
    You can find the register link on the webinar page at Xactware.com. This page will be continually updated with the latest webinar information.
  • What if I can't hear the audio from the webinar?
    First, double check that the audio on your computer is enabled and your speakers are turned on. If you do not have speakers, you may need headphones to listen to the webinar. You should also check in the WebEx menu at the top of the screen to make sure the audio has been turned on.

    If you are still unable to hear the audio after checking these sources, you may need to update your WebEx player. To do this, go to the following URL: http://www.webex.com/lp/player/download.html

  • Where do I find my ID number and other login information?
    After registering for the webinar, you will receive an initial email confirming your request. Subsequently, you will receive a second email confirming your registration a few hours later. This second email is very important as it includes the link and step-by-step instruction how to login-including your ID number, user name, and password.
  • How do I log in to view the webinar?
    To log in to the webinar, follow the instructions you received in the second confirmation email. An example of these instructions is found below:

    To join the online event:
    1. Go to www.xactware.webex.com/URL
    2. If the enrollment ID is required, enter it and then click "Submit"
    3. Enter the event password: Password
    4. Click "Join."

    If you did not receive a confirmation email with this information, please check your SPAM folder. These confirmation emails are sent by WebEx, not Xactware.
  • I am receiving a message that my login information is incorrect. How do I log in if I get this message?
    Close all Internet browsers and attempt logging in again. If the problem continues, please contact WebEx support directly by phone at 866-229-3239 or by email at support@webex.com.
  • When I go to register for the webinar, I receive a message stating the event is full. How do I register if this is the case?
    Close all Internet browsers and attempt logging in again. If the problem continues, please contact WebEx support directly by phone at 866-229-3239 or by email at support@webex.com.
  • When I go to log in to the webinar, one of the following occurs:
    1. I receive a message saying the webinar has not started yet.
    Close all Internet browsers and try logging in again. The event must be open before you can join. Typically, Xactware webinars are open 20 minutes prior to the advertised start time.

    2. A message states the webinar is in progress and I cannot log in.
    Close all Internet browsers and attempt logging in again. If the problem continues, please contact WebEx support directly by phone at 866-229-3239 or by email at support@webex.com.

    3. The software begins loading and tells me to wait, but it never finishes loading.

  • What if I registered for a webinar and am unable to attend?
    If you have registered for a webinar and know that you will be unable to attend, please cancel your registration so that your seat may be filled by another individual. To cancel, please send us your request by clicking here.
  • I missed the webinar I was scheduled for. Can I sign up for a different time?
    Yes, and please sign up for another session. All of Xactware's webinars will be broadcast for a limited time, so please take advantage of one of the available times.
