Quick Entry Tool
The XactContents Quick Entry tool allows for continuous adding of line items. You can also quickly add miscellaneous and contents general quote items (good, better, best). This Quick Entry interface increases your speed of entry by keeping the essential workflow tied to the keyboard. With Quick Entry you can enter items and search at the same time. XactContents can search in the background while you continue working.
Integrated Internet Search
The integrated web search allows you to search multiple sources at once, including the XactContents database, the contents general quote items, and Internet sources such as Amazon.com, Google, Yahoo! Shopping, and many national retailers.
Import Existing Lists of Personal Property Items
Inventory lists can be imported from an Excel spreadsheet. This means the insured can fill out key information such as item make, model, description, age, estimated cost to replace, and so on. Using an inventory list provides an excellent way for a claim rep or estimator to build the large loss inventory quickly.
Easily Find the Right Item
Search by product manufacturer and the item's model number, brand name, or description. XactContents helps you immediately find the item you need. After finding the correct items, users can automatically generate an email with links for all vendor items included in the estimate and send it to the insured for review or for them to go and purchase the added items.
Accurate, Up-to-Date Prices
XactContents contains over 1,000,000 items and the price list is updated no less than once a week. Prices come from major national retailers.
Automatically Handle Discontinued Items
When XactContents finds an item that has been discontinued, it automatically shows you current items that are of like kind and quality. XactContents currently provides like-kind-quality replacements for over 45,000 items.
Automatically Calculate Depreciation
Each XactContents line item contains life-expectancy information. Calculate deprecation automatically by entering the items age and use factor.
Contents Reference Search
Using our graphical search option, you can click on graphics for specific rooms in a home to find the items you need. After clicking the image, simply drill down and filter the list of results to the contents items you want added to your estimate.
Payment Tracker
Use the Payment Tracker to manage recoverable deprecation and track ACV and deferred payments.
XactContents® Online System Requirements
Note: For XactContents (used within Xactimate) System Requirements, please refer to the Xactimate System Requirements.
- Users connect to XactContents Online using Microsoft Internet Explorer. XactContents Online supports IE 6.0 (IE 7 or higher strongly recommended), and requires that cookies are enabled for this site. Cookies are used to track the user session. In order to access Payment Tracker an ActiveX control is required. 360Value requires that popup blockers are disabled for the site.
- For users on IE 6 It is highly recommended they have JScript version 5.7 or higher.
- XactContents Online is viewable in a 1024x768 (or higher) screen resolution.
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7.
- 800 MHz or higher processor recommended.
- 512 MB of RAM or higher recommended.
- High speed Internet connection (DSL, cable, ISDN, T-1, etc.) recommended.
- Internet access through an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
