Online System Requirements
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or above, Firefox 3.0 or above. (Users of 64-bit Internet Explorer 7, please try a different browser)
- Must have JavaScript enabled. Popup Blockers must be disabled or have exceptions included in order to view courses
- High-speed Internet access* (DSL, cable, ISDN, T-1, etc. 56K modem not recommended)
- Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, or Macintosh OS X
- SVGA color monitor with resolution set at 1024x768 or higher
- 1 GB of RAM or greater recommended
- 16-bit sound card w/ speakers or headphones
- Flash® 9.0 or above (download Flash player)
* If you have a slower Internet connection, you can still take our courses; they will just take longer to download. If you're concerned about performance, try one of our demo courses to see if your system meets your expectations before you buy.
Tip: If you wait until the entire video instruction downloads (which is complete when the progress bar at the bottom is dark, you can view it without playback interruptions, even at slower connection speeds.
Disc (CD or DVD-ROM) Training System Requirements
- TechSmith Screen Capture Codec (Download Codec). This codec is automatically installed by the DVD-ROM when it runs. If you have a "locked-down" system, the codec will not install and the video will not play properly.
- Windows® 98 or newer operating system, running on a Pentium® processor
- 128 MB or RAM recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
- SVGA color monitor with resolution set at 1024x768 or higher
- 16-bit sound card w/ speakers or headphones
