ACV Systems, Inc. (ACVS) introduced a proven product, Accurate Content Valuation Software, to six experienced restoration contractors in 2009 to assist content teams to automate pack-out, inventory and cleaning information processes. The ACVS goal was to develop a training and support team before introducing it to the U.S. and Canadian markets. Once training and support were achieved, additional contractors were added in the U.S. and Canada in June, 2010.
ACVS provides file security and is available for Microsoft Windows. ACVS is a “once and done” comprehensive inventory control system enabling contractors to electronically prepare the inventory of restorable items, document with photos and attach a barcode for full “care and custody” tracking. The software allows for direct transmission of the information captured on site to the office while the team is still on site, giving management ability to review the inventory and pictures. While on site, the contractor can record the non-restorable inventory and accurately document the loss with photographs. By using the same company to complete the pack-out and to make the inventory “cycle time,” job costs and dysfunctions are reduced.
ACV Systems has partnered with three major job management companies to bring users an even more effective job management tool. The interface will allow the contractor to access content reports directly from their job management software. ACVS focuses to provide regional and online training classes giving users a high level of efficiency. Visit the website www.acvsystems.com. Additional information is available from Jack Schwartz or Susan Munger at 800-929-3398.
