The American Society of Home Inspectors, Inc. (ASHI) has officially approved Xactware's ILX Construction Training® package for 15 ASHI® Membership Renewal Credits (MRCs). This means that ASHI members and candidates can now earn 15 credits to renew their membership and improve their knowledge of residential construction at the same time!

"Being approved by ASHI is quite a tribute to our product," says Matt Weir, General Manager of iSkills, an Xactware subsidiary and producer of ILX Construction Training. "This adds even more credibility to this product's already proven track record and worth as an educational tool for anyone in the building industry including contractors, adjusters and now home inspectors." ASHI is the largest and most respected professional association for home inspectors in North America. Evaluation by an ASHI review board is a strict requirement necessary for such approval by the organization. "MRC approval is an esteemed sign of success for ILX Construction Training," states Weir.

Each year, ASHI members must receive 20 ASHI Membership Renewal Credits in order to renew their membership with the organization. Credits can be earned by attending approved trainings and/or seminars, or completing other various courses approved by ASHI. By completing ILX Construction Training, ASHI members can now complete 75 percent of the required 20 credits needed for membership renewal. The course can also be re-used each year to help meet the annual MRC requirement.

ILX Construction Training provides over 40 informative hours of full-motion video, professional animation, and expert narration to hold student interest. The instruction and testing cover all aspects of residential construction from start to finish, including construction concepts and terminology. Topics include everything from framing and roofing, to plumbing, flooring and HVAC. This self-paced course comes complete with exams, a handy carrying case, and 90 days of telephone support and can easily be completed in less than a week.

This comprehensive training course is currently being used by hundreds of homebuilders and property insurance adjusters across the country to train both existing employees and new hires.
