Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce Names Xactware 'Business of the Year'
Chamber praises company's leadership, growth, innovative spirit
Xactware was named "Business of the Year" last week at the annual Arthur V. Watkins Awards dinner hosted at Utah Valley University.
The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce sponsored the awards dinner in memory of Watkins, a prominent businessman and politician for the state of Utah. In its written decision, the chamber lauded Xactware's president and CEO, Jim Loveland, for the growth the company has experienced over the years.
"During Jim's tenure as president and CEO, Xactware has nearly quadrupled revenues, expanded business operations into several international markets, broadened Xactware's customer base into new vertical markets, joined the Verisk Analytics (NASDAQ: VRSK) family of companies, and overseen the release of numerous highly successful new products and services," the chamber stated.
Earlier this year, Loveland was also named one of Utah Business Magazine's 2010 CEOs of the Year.
